“Suicide Squad” Tops IMDb’s 2016 List

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Suicide Squad” has been named the top film of 2016 by the IMDb, based on the number of page views on the film database’s site.

In fact all the top five films were all based on comic-book characters – “Captain America: Civil War,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Deadpool” and “X-Men: Apocalypse” all came in second to fifth on the list.

Also making its way into the top ten were Jon Favreau’s “The Jungle Book” in sixth, “The Magnificent Seven” remake in seventh, the “Ghostbusters” reboot in eighth, the “Warcraft” film adaptation in ninth, and “The Legend of Tarzan” in tenth.
