Netflix Axes “Chambers,” Sets “White People” Date

Trailer Uma Thurmans Netflix Series Chambers

Netflix has cancelled its supernatural drama series “Chambers” after one season, a company spokesperson confirming the show won’t get a second season.

The series followed a teenager who gets a heart transplant and becomes consumed with the mystery surrounding her donor. Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn, Sivan Alyra Rose and Lilliya Reid starred in the series which scored disappointing reviews and little buzz upon release back in late April.

Also today, the streamer has announced an August 2nd premiere date for the third season of their acclaimed comedy series “Dear White People”. Justin Simien created the series set at a white Ivy League university where racial tensions bubble just below the surface.
