One of the more reliable Marvel movie scoopers isn’t a website but a Twitter account. Going by the name Roger Wardell, the anonymous account joined the Twitter-sphere in December last year when it posted a series of tweets about “Avengers: Endgame” and then vanished.
Since then, the contents of those tweets have all proven correct, including many key spoilers about the film. More recently the account resurfaced again and has offered up some more posts. First up, they indicate last week’s rumor of incorporating Deadpool into an MCU “Spider-Man 3” aren’t true, but they do say Sony “desperately wants Tom Hardy’s Venom in this movie”.
They add that “Deadpool had his own movies but never showed up in the main X-Men films, it will be the same for the MCU.” The scooper also indicates the studio has the hots for former “The Walking Dead” star David Morrissey: “Marvel Studios are a big fan of David Morrissey and are considering multiple roles for him for Phase 4.”
The scooper has previously indicated “Doctor Strange 2” is in the works with characters Jericho Drumm and Clea joining the fray, while Marvel has very early plans for its The Black Knight, Thunderbolts, Power Pack and Ms. Marvel properties.
