Hbos Thrones To Retain Sets For Tourism

HBO has announced that they plan to convert several of their regular “Game of Thrones” filming locations in Northern Ireland into tourist attractions.

With the final season of big-budget fantasy series having wrapped filming (but with months of post-production ahead), the network is reportedly considering including the standing sets for iconic locations from the show such as Winterfell, Castle Black and Kings Landing.

In addition, there will likely be a formal studio tour of Linen Mill Studios, which will showcase material from the series spanning all seasons and settings. A 2019 opening is being targeted for the locations which will include sets from the show.
