A month after its premiere at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the much talked about first trailer for the new “Halloween” looks set to be finally debuting online soon.
David Gordon Green helms and co-wrote the new film with Danny McBride with the movie bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and original director John Carpenter to consult and provide the score. The film’s Jason Blum has now taken to Twitter to confirm the trailer is going online in early June:
“I want to assure #Halloween fans that we hear you. We have read your comments. And I can assure you that early June will be a happy time for you or perhaps I should say for most of you.”
This matches with a source in Australia which indicates the trailer will be launched online either this coming week or early next – either way it seems to be hitting sooner rather than later. The movie itself is slated to open in October.
