Brie Larson is in final negotiations to re-team with her “Short Term 12” director Destin Cretton for his next film “Just Mercy” at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx are also on board the true story film in which Jordan plays Bryan Stevenson, a gifted young lawyer fighting for equal justice in a flawed legal system.
Specifics of Larson’s role are unknown at this time. Cretton is directing and co-wrote the script with Andrew Lanham and shooting is set to start next month in Atlanta. Jordan, Gil Netter and Asher Goldstein will produce.
