“Black Panther” Scores Top SAG Award

Marvel’s “Black Panther” regained some awards momentum tonight, the film taking the top award for best performance by an ensemble cast in a motion picture at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards, along with nabbing an award for its stunts work.

The 25th annual ceremony highlights performances across film and television with actors voting on their peers. Oscar frontrunners Rami Malek, Glenn Close and Mahershala Ali won film acting nods, while Emily Blunt won a welcome supporting award win.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” was the big winner on the TV side with three awards. Nods were also handed out to “This Is Us,” “Killing Eve,” “Assassination of Gianni Versace,” “Glow,” and “Ozark”. Here’s the complete list of winners:
