Apple TV has officially released the teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of its Rebecca Ferguson-led sci-fi series “Silo”.
Whereas the first two seasons were primarily from the novel “Wool” and the third season from “Shift,” the final season will adapt much of its narrative from the last book in Hugh Howey’s trilogy, “Dust”.
The trailer teases the conflict ahead, with Juliette (Ferguson) facing new dangers and several characters caught up in the growing battle. It follows in the wake of the season finale released earlier today.
Set in a dystopian future, the drama series follows ten thousand people living in a massive underground bunker. They are unaware of the world beyond the walls, and strict rules supposedly protect them from the toxic, ruined world outside. However, Juliette’s search for answers uncovers deadly lies tied to Silo 1’s leadership.
Jessica Henwick and Ashley Zukerman’s characters, introduced at the very end of Season 2 and a major focus in Season 3, become involved in Juliette’s story in the new run.
Apple TV has announced that the final season will premiere on July 9th 2027.
