Dwayne Johnson has been cast as the voice of Krypto the Super-Dog in the “DC League of Super-Pets” animated movie at Warner Bros. Pictures.
The story centers on Superman’s dog who teams up with a flying cat to stop crime while the Man of Steel is on vacation.
Jared Stern is writing and directing the feature with Sam Levine to co-direct. The studio reportedly hopes to enlist an A-list cast of heroes and villains.
Johnson is also producing the film which will release in cinemas on May 20th 2022. The casting comes as Johnson is currently shooting “Black Adam” in which he plays the DC Comis super-villain character. That film will open two months later on July 29th 2022.
