Peacock has handed out a straight-to-series order for a live-action “Dungeon Crawler Carl” TV series.

The project will adapt Matt Dinniman’s popular science-fantasy RPG books, with Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and Universal Global Television behind the project.

Dinniman serves as co-executive producer on the series and announced the news on social media. Chris Yost will pen the adaptation.

In the series, an alien invasion has wiped out most of humanity, and any survivors are forced to fight for their lives on a sadistic intergalactic game show.
