Filming appears to be gearing up to begin on Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II” in Liverpool.
Multiple photos and video have emerged online indicating Rick English, a stunt double for Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne, and the production crew have already been doing work on location around Birkenhead Tunnel.
Snow-covered Gotham City Police Department vehicles have also been spotted along with new production branding which is going for a blue motif this time as opposed to the first film’s red.
It appears some preliminary second unit work is underway with the stunt double spotted atop a moving police car without the Batman suit.
Directed by Matt Reeves, the sequel to 2022’s The Batman is now in production ahead of its expected start window, with early scenes reportedly shooting around Birkenhead Tunnel.
Filming on the first film used both Glasgow and Liverpool to double for Gotham. The city was also used for DC’s Clayface film.
Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Charles Dance star.
