Fox Animation have set “Cars 3” scribes Eyal Podell and Jonathon E. Stewart to pen a feature film adaptation of the short film “A Tale of Momentum and Inertia”.
Momentum briefly tells of a rock giant who accidentally unleashes a massive boulder to roll thunderously down toward a seaside kingdom and his attempt to stop it.
The short made the festival circuit rounds a few years ago with the studio picking it up in a quiet bidding war last year. Kameron Gates, Carlos Saldanha and Maresa Pullman will produce the feature.
