Freeform is reportedly targeting a Winter 2018 premiere for “Cloak and Dagger,” the new Marvel and ABC TV series described as a superhero love story.
The story focuses on Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson, teenagers from different backgrounds who grapple with newly acquired superpowers – Tandy can emit daggers of light, while Tyrone can engulf others in darkness – even as they fall in love.
Showrunner Joe Pokaski is currently working on a rewrite for the project which was ordered to series back in April. Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios are producing the project.
