Fox has officially set a July 25th 2008 release date for its “The X-Files” sequel movie reports the trades.
Series creator Chris Carter will direct the still-untitled film which he co-wrote with Frank Spotnitz starting in December in Vancouver.
The film is confirmed as a stand alone supernatural thriller that takes the complicated relationship between Mulder and Scully in new directions but won’t get into plot specifics.
