Martin Landau, Armie Hammer and Lindsay Wagner are headlining the indie Billy Graham biopic “Billy: The Early Years” says Variety.
Hammer portrays the young Graham and the story centers on the coming of age of the dairy farmer’s son in small-town America.
Graham spearheaded the post-World War II faith movement in the US and became a much touted evangelist and presidential advisor.
Kristopher Polaha, Josh Turner, Stephanie Butler, Jennifer O’Neill and Sierra Hull also star.
Shooting started this week in Tennessee with Robbie Benson directing.
