Barry Sonnenfeld will develop and potentially direct the animated feature “Pig Scrolls” for Dreamworks Animation reports Pajiba.
Set in Ancient Greece, Paul Shipton’s novel follows a talking pig attempting to save the world. The project ties in both a lot of Greek mythological references and features pretty much all the major Gods and many minor deities.
Kirk De Micco (“Space Chimps”) penned the most recent adaptation and a sequel option is already in place should the first film succeed.
