CBS has handed out a script commitment for a “reimagining” of the Aaron Spelling-produced supernatural series “Charmed”.
The original series centered around four sisters who battle against the forces of evil using their witchcraft. It ran for eight seasons from 1998-2006 and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, Brian Krause and Julian McMahon.
“Party of Five” co-creator Chris Keyser and partner Sydney Sidner will pen the script and co-executive produce.
