Drafthouse Films has acquired North American rights to Ben Wheatley’s original horror film “A Field In England”.
The story follows a group of 17th century English Civil War soldiers captured by an alchemist and led into a vast mushroom field.
They soon fall victim to violent and nightmarish forces. The project is Wheatley’s third full feature, following “Kill List” and “Sightseers”.
A theatrical and VOD release is planned for this year.
