Ray Winstone (“Noah,” “The Departed”) has signed on for Ericson Core’s upcoming extreme sports-themed remake of “Point Break”.
Winstone takes on the role played by Gary Busey in the 1991 original – the older partner of fresh young FBI agent Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) who is assigned to infiltrate a criminal ring. He soon comes to suspect thrill-seeker Bodhi (Gerard Butler).
Second unit filming is already underway with the main shoot scheduled to take place in June.
