One of the more unexpected rumors that popped up online last month was that of “Mad Max: Fury Road” director George Miller being asked to direct a DC superhero movie – at the time it was suggest to be a direct sequel to 2013’s “Man of Steel”.
This was decidedly unexpected considering Miller came close to directing a “Justice League” feature a few years ago until numerous circumstances halted the project.
In a new interview with Digital Spy, Miller confirms that he has had conversations with Warners about directing a DC movie and more “Mad Max” films, but it’s very unlikely:
“There’s discussions about them [more ‘Mad MAx’ films] right now. I hope the next film I make is a very small film without any special effects and not many stunts.”
