Mahershala Ali (“House Of Cards,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”) has scored the key role of Cornell ‘Cottonmouth’ Stokes in Marvel’s “Luke Cage” series.
Mike Colter plays Cage, a wrongly accused man who is granted super strength by a sabotaged experiment and escapes prison to become a superhero for hire.
Stokes is a Harlem nightclub owner who will become an unexpected foe in Luke’s life when his criminal activities threaten Luke’s world. The series is currently slated to premiere sometime next year.
