CBS has canceled its procedural drama “CSI: Cyber,” opting not to renew the series for a third season in 2016-17.
“CSI: Cyber” never reached the heights of its predecessors, averaging a 1.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.5 million viewers overall in Live+7 estimates.
‘Cyber’ was the last remaining series in the “CSI” franchise, its cancellation effectively bringing what was the biggest TV franchise of last decade to an end with four shows and thirty-six full seasons of television.
