Gosling-Refn
“Drive” and “Only God Forgives” director Nicolas Winding Refn has teased that he and his star Ryan Gosling are exploring ideas for a third collaboration, albeit one that’s still a long way off.
Speaking with France 24 at the Deauville American Film Festival, he said they have stayed in touch over the years, and the project would be a comedy, but it sounds as if it’s only at the idea stage at this point as opposed to active development.

“Wicked” filmmaker Jon M. Chu has confirmed that his Britney Spears is still very much in the midst of being written and so is still a long way off from casting, even as he’s receiving many casting submissions for the project:
Appearing at the opening gala of the George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, he tells Variety: “I get emails every day, hundreds of emails from people all around the world. Thank you for sending all your auditions. I am not even thinking about casting right now. We’re just trying to get the story right.”
They Follow
Production has wrapped on writer-director David Robert Mitchell’s “They Follow,” the sequel to 2014’s “It Follows,” in Los Angeles this week. Maika Monroe returns as Jay and follows her a decade later. Naomi Ackie, Jackie Earle Haley, Justine Lupe, Michael Gandolfini and Melora Walters co-star. [Source: Dread Central]
Silent Hill: Townfall
Screen Burn Interactive and Annapurna Interactive have unveiled the launch trailer for the just-released game title “Silent Hill: Townfall” which has managed a solid 81/100 on Metacritic.
That’s better than most entries in the franchise though slighlty behind recent titles like “Silent Hill 2” remake (86), “Silent Hill f” (86). The campaign reportedly clocks in at around 12-14 hours. IXBT reports there’s optimisation issues even on PS5 Pro and high-end PC.
