The eight-episode series tells the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman (Jon Hamm), a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis.

Also onboard are Kristoffer Polaha as Dick Hall, William Jackson Harper as Ben Hairston, Mireille Enos as Fred’s wife Barbara Heckman, Jonathan Tucker as FBI Special Agent Cormac McNally, and Kat Cunning as Ibby Hall.

The series has been co-created by Shawn Ryan and Eileen Myers and is executive produced by Ryan, Myers, Sharon Hoffman, Hamm, Connie Tavel, Marney Hochman, Shawn Christensen, Gabriel Mason, and Jen Roskind, with directors Adam Arkin and Nina Lopez Corrado.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, it will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival ahead of a September 20th release.
