Netflix has released the trailer for “The Last House,” a new sci-fi horror feature set to release on the streamer on August 7th.
Louis Leterrier (“Fast X,” “The Transporter”) helms the film which stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura.
The story follows a family of four who are suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out. Any attempt to leave the house is rebuffed and they soon learn they’re not the only ones.
They must work together to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.
As the days, weeks, months and years roll on, they wonder when their house imprisonment will end – but soon enough, the threat shows its face.
Moura replaced Kingsley Ben-Adir in the male lead role of the film which was penned by Matthew Robinson and produced by Leterrier, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kori Adelson and Oly Obst.
