Apple TV has premiered the teaser trailer and confirmed a July 3rd launch for the third season of its dystopian sci-fi series “Silo”.
The series follows the last few thousand people on Earth living in a mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built.
The third season shifts the focus partially to the past, as journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.
In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat.
Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, Clare Perkins, Steve Zahn, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, and Colin Hanks co-star in the series.
The ten-episode third season will release an episode each week running through September 4th. The show has already been renewed for a fourth and final season.
