Black Bear has premiered the official trailer for the upcoming Jason Statham-led action thriller “Shelter”, opening in cinemas January 30th.
On a remote coastal island, a reclusive man named Michael Mason rescues a young girl from a deadly storm, drawing them both into danger.
Forced out of isolation, he must confront his turbulent past while protecting her, sending them on a tense journey of survival and redemption.
Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Naomi Ackie, Bill Nighy, Harriet Walter, Bronson Webb and Daniel Mays co-star.
“Greenland” and “Angel Has Fallen” filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh directs from a script by Ward Parry. Baltasar Kormákur was previously attached to helm when the project was first announced.
Statham also has the action thriller “Mutiny” opening next August in which he plays a private security man framed with murdering his Thai billionaire friend. That opens in August.
