Netflix has revealed the filming dates for the third season of its live-action adaptation of its long-running anime “One Piece”.
Filming on the first season ran from January-August 2022 ahead of an August 2023 release. Filming on the second season ran from July 2024-February 2025 ahead of a March 2026 release.
Now, the streamer has confirmed that filming on the third season begins in the show’s home base in Cape Town, South Africa the week after next, November 24th 2025. Filming will then run through until June 19th 2026.
If it follows the pattern of the other two seasons (airing just over one year after wrapping filming), it means the third season will launch around late Summer 2027.
If true, that means it’ll arrive 16 months after the third season – effectively halving the 31-month gap between the first and second season.
The show’s third season renewal was announced back in August, and since then multiple indicators have suggested filming would begin very soon.
The show’s second season will release on the service on March 10th 2026.
