Qualley, Plaza Up For Coen’s “Go Beavers!”

Focus Features

Following “Drive-Away Dolls” and “Honey Don’t,” the final film of Ethan Coen’s queer trilogy has been revealed – “Go, Beavers!”.

World of Reel reports that Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza are in talks to star in the film which has a finished screenplay, but no distributor yet attached.

Once again a collaboration with his wife and longtime editor Tricia Cooke, this one will follow a lesbian college rowing team that reunites years later — only for members to begin mysteriously dying.

The film is said to be a genre work about ‘women and nature’ with comparisons to “Deliverance” and “Walkabout”.

The previous two films were made for around $20 million each with this likely to match that. Both previous films were met with mixed to negative reviews and little in the way of box-office.

Qualley starred in both previous films while Plaza joined her in “Honey Don’t”. Other actors to have appeared in the two films thus far have included Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Matt Damon, Colman Domingo, Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein and Charlie Day.
