The Revenge of La Llorona
A sequel to “The Curse of La Llorona” has begun production. Jay Hernandez (“Magnum P.I.”), Monica Raymund (“Chicago Fire”), and Raymond Cruz (“Major Crimes”) co-star in the film which is shooting in Buffalo, New York. Edy Ganem, Martín Fajardo, Acston Luca Porto and Avie Porto also star.
The story sees the vengeful spirit La Llorona returning, forcing a fractured family to confront their past and join forces with their estranged curandero grandfather to battle ancient evils, before the Weeping Woman claims their children forever. They Will Kill You
New Line Cinema has set a March 27th 2026 release date for the Zazie Beetz-led and Kirill Sokolov-directed horror thriller “They Will Kill You”. Patricia Arquette, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Myha’la co-star. Sokolov and Alex Litvak co-wrote the script.
Beetz plays a woman who accepts a housekeeping job in a mysterious New York high-rise. She discovers that the building’s residents hide a disturbing history of disappearances tied to a potential Satanic cult. [Source: New Line]
Primal
Genndy Tartakovsky’s “Primal” returns for a third season which shakes things up following the death of the show’s hero Spear in the second season. The trailer for the third suggests we’re now following a zombie Spear back from the dead. The new run January 2026.
Cross
Amazon Prime Video has officially set a February 11th premiere date for the first three episodes of the second season of its Aldis Hodge-led series “Cross” which sees him reprising his role of Alex Cross from the James Patterson novels. Episodes will air weekly through March 18th. The new season sees him in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates.
The Family Plan 2
Apple TV+ has announced a November 21st release date for the Mark Wahlberg-led action comedy sequel “The Family Plan 2”. Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Peter Lindsey, Theodore Lindsey, and Reda Elazouar co-star.
Set during the holiday season, former covert assassin Dan has planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids to celebrate overseas, until a mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) shows up with unfinished business.
