Keanu Reeves has given a positive update on how the sequel to 2005’s “Constantine” is going. Out promoting Aziz Ansari’s “Good Fortune” film, he says: “Fingers crossed. Another draft of the script came in. We’re gonna take it to the studio and hopefully they like it too.” [Source: Fandango]

Scrooge
“X” and “The House of the Devil” filmmaker Ti West is reportedly attached to direct a project titled “Scrooge” which will shoot in Dublin and London and is being backed by Paramount Pictures. The report emerged from a production listing which also indicates Emma Watts is producing. [Source: Yahoo]

Afterlife with Archie
A TV series adaptation of “Afterlife with Archie” is in the works at Disney+ with the project getting a script-to-series commitment. The one-hour drama series “re-imagines the beloved town of Riverdale as an apocalyptic, nightmare-fueled hellscape overrun with flesh-eating zombies.”

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who created Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and The CW’s “Riverdale,” is writing and executive producing alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Leigh London Redman. [Source: TV Line]

A Quiet Place Part III
Paramount Pictures has delayed the John Krasinski-directed “A Quiet Place Part 3” from July 9th 2027 to July 30th 2027. The change removes the film from a direct opening against James Gunn’s Superman follow-up “Man of Tomorrow” on July 9th. [Source: Yahoo]
