MUBI has premiered the official trailer for the Lynne Ramsey-directed domestic drama “Die, My Love” which premiered back at Cannes in May.
Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson star as a couple who have moved from the city to an isolated farmhouse in rural Montana.
In the wake of giving birth, she deals with postpartum depression which consumes her mentally. Nick Nolte, LaKeith Stanfield and Sissy Spacek co-star in the film which scored mixed reviews at the fest.
However, Lawrence’s work in the movie is being universally praised, and there’s already plenty of talk about Lawrence being in the awards conversation for this year.
Ramsay directs from a script written with Enda Walsh and Alice Birch. Lawrence, Martin Scorsese, Justine Ciarrocchi, Andrea Calderwood, Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill produce.
MUBI snatched up domestic and some international rights to the film, its biggest acquisition to date, which will hit cinemas November 7th.
