Amazon Prime Video has officially renewed its acclaimed animated comic book adaptation “Invincible” for a fifth season.
The series aired its third season finale back in March, with a fourth season slated to debut in 2026. However the streamer isn’t slowing down.
In fact, though they made a fifth season official today, they also have released a video with the voice actors that confirms that the voice recording work on the new run has already been completed.
Matthew Rhys has joined the voice cast for the fourth season, which will finally see the introduction of the main villain from the Image Comics title – Thragg. It’s unclear if Rhys is playing him.
The third season ranked as Prime Video’s most-watched animation season of all time according to the streamer.
Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios produce the series which landed its first Emmy nomination earlier this week for Steven Yeun voice over work in the lead role.
