Back in late February, actor Nicholas Galitzine shared the first photo from “Masters of the Universe,” the upcoming live-action “He-Man” movie, which had just entered production. That shot was a close up of his sword and shoulder muscle – teasing his role as Prince Adam/He-Man.

Four months on, Galitzine has done it again – this time offering a glimpse of his back in silhouette in a new shot from the set to mark the wrap of shooting on the project. He says in his posting:

“Well, that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe. It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He-Man. It’s been the role of a lifetime and I put everything into it. There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for all your hard work.”

Filmmaker Travis Knight directs the Chris Buttler-penned movie which co-stars Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms and Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress.

Also onboard are James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.

The story follows Prince Adam, who crashed to Earth in a spaceship at 10 years old and was separated from his magical Power Sword – the only link to his home on Eternia.

After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor.

But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man, the most powerful man in the Universe.

Amazon MGM Studios, Escape Artists and Mattel Films will release the film in cinemas on June 5th 2026.
