“Rick & Morty” Renewed For Seasons 11 & 12

Adult Swim

Despite the series being a long way from finishing its famed ten-season order, the Adult Swim cult comedy “Rick and Morty” has been renewed for an eleventh and twelfth season.

The announcement was made during a New York Comic Con panel, which featured series co-creator Dan Harmon along with showrunner Scott Marder and key cast members.

Harmon says: “Nobody wants a universe without Rick and Morty. Fortunately, the list of places to go remains infinite”. Should episodes come out yearly, the deal keeps the show on air through 2029.

The series premiered back in 2013 and season eight has yet to air with those episodes to roll out in 2025.

The Emmy-winning comedy continues to be Adult Swim’s No. 1 show even as it underwent a considerable shakeup behind the scenes with series co-creator Justin Roiland ousted from the show.

Newcomers Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden voice the narcissistic, alcoholic genius Rick and his bumbling grandson Morty, respectively, from the show’s seventh season onwards.
