Sony Pictures has premiered the teaser trailer for the Glenn Powell and Sydney Sweeney-led R-rated edgy romantic comedy “Anyone But You”.
Bea (Sweeney) and Ben (Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia.
So they do what any two mature adults would do – pretend to be a couple. Will Gluck (“Easy A”) directs the film which was shot on location in Sydney, Australia.
Also starring are Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, Bryan Brown, Charlee Fraser, Joe Davidson and Rachel Griffiths
This trailer first played in theaters alongside “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” this past weekend and partly leaked online almost a week ago.
The film is slated to open December 22nd in the United States to take advantage of the Christmas four-day weekend. In Australia, it will arrive a few days later on Boxing Day (December 26th).
