The second season of Marvel Studios’ “Loki” debuted on Thursday to 10.9 million global views in its first three days on the platform according to Disney.
That makes it the streamer’s second most-watched season premiere this year, behind only the third season premiere of “The Mandalorian”.
A view for Disney is defined as a total stream time divided by the run time available.
The numbers came out a lot faster than with “Ahsoka” where Disney chose to tout that show’s five-day window which generated 14 million views.
The June 2021 premiere of “Loki” had the most successful first day of any Marvel series on Disney+ and continued to smash records throughout its entire first season run. It remains the most-watched Marvel series on the platform to date.
Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Tara Strong, and Ke Huy Quan star in the current second season which is set to run through November 9th.
