A runtime leak regarding Marvel Studios’ upcoming “The Marvels” feature suggests that, if accurate, the new movie may break a record as the shortest MCU film to date.

According to Games Radar, Twitter user Cryptic4KQual has a track record for proven runtime predictions, especially regarding Disney titles. They indicate the film will clock in at a tight 98 minutes, or just 93 minutes without credits.

The scooper strongly stresses that this runtime is NOT final, so could shift a bit, and the number is certainly not officially confirmed.

The shortest MCU entry to date is Louis Letterier’s 2008 film “The Incredible Hulk” which clocks in at 112 minutes – around fourteen minutes longer than “The Marvels” is rumored to be.

The new film will see the return of Oscar winner Brie Larson as she reprises her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. She’s joined by “WandaVision” breakout star Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel.

“The Marvels” is set to hit theaters on November 10th 2023 and is expected to take the IMAX screens that were originally earmarked for the release of Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Two”.
