Sony Pictures has announced a September 5th date for the Blu-ray and 4K UHD release of this Summer’s highly acclaimed smash hit “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”.
The disc release comes nearly four weeks after the film’s arrival on digital platforms on August 8th. Collector’s will score over 90 minutes of extras including deleted scenes, lyric videos, many featurettes, along with commentary tracks and easter eggs.
That’s not the only release date revealed today. Netflix has reportedly set an October 13th release date on its service for Wes Anderson’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short story collection “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar”.
The anthology film will consist of four parts and runs for just 37 minutes. Cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Ben Kingsley, Rupert Friend, Asa Jennings, and Richard Ayoade.
Then, Bill Ross IV and Turner Ross’ “Gasoline Rainbow” will get a U.S. theatrical release in 2024 via Mubi. The film has its world premiere in the Orizzonti section of this year’s Venice Film Festival.
Tony Abuerto, Micah Bunch, Nichole Dukes, Nathaly Garcia and Makai Garza star in the story of five teenagers from small-town Oregon who embark on one last adventure before college – a road trip to the Pacific coast.
Finally, 20th Century Studios is set to release its Stephen King adaptation “The Boogeyman” on digital on August 29th ahead of a disc release on October 10th.
