The LEGO Group has unveiled a new 60-second promo showcasing its upcoming LEGO set inspired by the beloved 1990s TV series “The X-Files”.
The clip sees Emmy Award-winner Gillian Anderson tipping her hat to her iconic role of FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the series.
In the clip, she’s in a hotel and is pulled into a mystery involving a black box which turns out to be full of LEGO pieces, creating an X-Files set.
The two-layer construction recreates both Mulder’s office at the FBI, and a forest scene with a hovering UFO.
The 1,478-piece set includes 8 minifigures, featuring Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien.
Priced at $199.99, the set is available to LEGO Insiders Early Access members from August 1st and everyone else from August 4th.
