With both films set for imminent launches, Paramount Pictures have unveiled some last-minute new trailers for both their highly anticipated “Scream VI” and the fantasy action-comedy “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”.
“Scream VI” opens this Friday and is set shortly after the latest Ghostface killings in last year’s “Scream”. The four survivors – Sam (Melissa Barrera), Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad (Mason Gooding) – leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York City.
However, the big city may end up being less safe when a new killer emerges, and they’re now in a place where people mind their own business and often won’t be there to help. Plus, a masked killer could be anyone – especially in a large urban populous.
Courteney Cox reprises her series-long role of Gail Weathers, whilst Hayden Panettiere is back as Kirby from the fourth film. Dermot Mulroney, Samara Weaving, Tony Revolori, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny also star. Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return as directors.
“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” is a live-action film adaptation of the famed board game franchise and opens on March 31st.
It follows a group of rogues who steal an artifact as part of a routine job – only to discover that they’ve accidentally delivered doomsday to their fantasy realm and must try to reverse their fate.
Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Rege-Jean Page and Hugh Grant star in the project which hails from “Game Night” directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
