NBC has released a first-look featurette for the network’s upcoming revival of its 1980s courtroom comedy “Night Court”.
Melissa Rauch stars as Judge Abby Stone, daughter of original series’ protagonist Judge Harry Stone (Harry Anderson). Meanwhile, John Larroquette is set to reprise his role as prosecutor Dan Fielding – a role he won multiple Emmys for.
The new series follows Stone as she presides over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court and tries to bring order to its crew. Lacretta stars as the court’s bailiff Gurgs, whilst India de Beaufort, Kapil Talwalkar, and Dimiter Marinov co-star.
The sixteen-episode series premieres on January 17th on NBC.
