Apple Original Films has announced that a special sing-along version of its holiday musical comedy feature “Spirited” is coming to cinemas.
Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer star in the film, a fresh take on Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ but from the perspective of the ghosts, which boasts original songs by Oscar, Grammy and Tony winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land,” “The Greatest Showman”).
The regular version had a limited theatrical release on November 11th ahead of it hitting the streamer on November 18th.
From this Friday, the film will be back in over 100 U.S. theaters. Cinemark and Megaplex theaters as well as other independent and regional exhibitors – with a singalong version.
That version will boast stylized lyrics on screen that play out karaoke style, including potential Oscar nominees “Good Afternoon” and “Do A Little Good”. Check your local listings for showtimes.
