Summer Game Fest has announced a June 8th 2023 kick off date with world premieres, live gameplay demos, and announcements to be aired in front of a live audience at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. The launch comes one week before E3 2023, which runs June 13th-16th. [Source: SGF]
Slow Horses
Timed with the release today of the first two episodes, Apple TV+ has premiered a feature for the return of espionage drama “Slow Horses” as stars Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden discuss their characters Jackson Lamb and River Cartwright.
The story follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known as Slough House. A third and fourth-season renewal has already been handed out.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
For the first time in nearly a century, Disney has released a new animated short that stars their first mascot – Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Eric Goldberg directs the new hand-drawn animated short shows Oswald going to a movie theater ands in love with the star of the film, Ortensia the Cat.
Happy Valley
Sarah Lancashire and James Norton are set to reunite when “Happy Valley” returns to screens in January, the BBC confirmed today. Sarah Lancashire returns as Sergeant Catherine Cawood in the six-episode season
This time she’s navigating relationships with her teenage grandson (Rhys Connah) and sister (Siobhan Finneran) whilst attempting to solve what appears to be a gangland murder. James Norton also returns as murderer and rapist Tommy Lee Royce.
The Head
The Mediapro Studio has released a new trailer for the second season of “The Head” which has a simultaneous premiere on HBO Max in the U.S. and Spain on December 22nd. Arthur Wilde (John Lynch) and Maggie (Katharine O’Donnelly) return from the first season with the new run taking place on a tanker.
