“Starship Troopers: Extermination” Game Teaser

OffWorld Industries

A teaser trailer has been released for “Starship Troopers: Extermination,” a first-person shooter set in the world of Paul Verhoeven’s iconic 1997 sci-fi militarism satire feature.

Marking the first FPS ‘Troopers’ game in nearly twenty years, Offworld Industries is producing the title, which supports 12-player co-op and is slated to come to PC in Steam early access for a year starting sometime in 2023.

Player feedback will shape some of what Offworld plans for the game, with new weapons, enemy types, bosses, class upgrades, progression achievements, vehicles, community events, encounter types, and customization options added over time.

The title launch with only one large map – Valaka – and a roadmap. There will be three playable classes and five enemy types with adjustable difficulty. Battles will be large and full of hundreds of ‘bugs’.

No console versions have been announced at this time. The title’s Steam page is now live.
