A December 22nd premiere date has been set for “Top Gun: Maverick” on the Paramount+ streaming service. The film will be available to stream globally on the service from that date (except for South Korea and France which get it next year).
The film was a box-office juggernaut, earning above $1.48 billion to become one of the top-grossing films of all time, not adjusted for inflation, and the first Tom Cruise film to join the billion-dollar club.
The date announcements follow a slew of new date announcements and reveals in the last few days revealing what major titles are hitting streamers before the end of the year.
“Black Adam,” “The Woman King,” “Lyle Lyle Crocodile,” “Till,” “Triangle of Sadness,” and “Armageddon Time” all became available via PVOD platforms today.
In addition, “Bullet Train” hits Netflix on December 3rd, “Amsterdam” comes to HBO Max on December 6th, Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” goes to MUBI on December 9th, and “The Banshees of Inisherin” arrives on PVOD on December 13th.
