Swedish streamer Topic has released the first official trailer for its release of the TV series “Agatha Christie’s Hjerson” which launches on Thursday, December 1st exclusively on Topic.
Sven Hjerson is a fictional Swedish detective character creation of eccentric author Ariadne Oliver who herself is a fictional character creation in several Christie novels where she’s a friend of Hercule Poirot.
In the series, Hjerson was a once renowned criminal profiler who suddenly chose to retire from the spotlight. He’s contacted by Klara Sandberg, a trash TV producer who wants to reset her career with a true crime show following Hjerson.
He has just been informed of his mother’s death and is forced to return to The Åland Islands. Klara manages to track him down and is on the same cruise ship heading to the archipelago.
On the ship, a young journalist is murdered. A reluctant Hjerson and a zealous Klara start to solve a string of murder mysteries. Johan Rheborg, Hanna Alström, Maria Lundqvist, David Fukamachi Regnfors, Björn Andrésen, and Peter Kanerva star.
