Searchlight Pictures has set an April 20th 2023 premiere date on Hulu/Disney+ Star for Broken Lizard’s new “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”-inspired comedy feature “Quasi”.
The story follows a hapless hunchback who only yearns for love, but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the King of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other.
Broken Lizard regulars Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske star alongside Adrianne Palicki. Heffernan serves as director and penned the script alongside the other four.
The team were previously responsible for the “Super Troopers” films along with “Club Dread” and “Beerfest”.
