Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed she’s teaming with “You Were Never Really Here” and “We Need to Talk About Kevin” filmmaker Lynne Ramsay on a film adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s novel “Die, My Love”.

Martin Scorsese is on board to produce the project, which unfolds in a forgotten patch of the French countryside. A woman is battling her demons: embracing exclusion yet wanting to belong, craving freedom whilst feeling trapped, yearning for family life but wanting to burn the entire house down.

Given surprising leeway by her family for her increasingly erratic behaviour, she nevertheless feels ever more stifled and repressed. The project is one of several Lawrence is linked with, including the comedy “No Hard Feelings,” and a biopic about talent agent Sue Mengers.

One she’s no longer involved in is the long-delayed film “Bad Blood” which is the story of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and is set to be directed by Adam McKay. Lawrence says because of Amanda Seyfried’s Emmy-winning performance in the role in Hulu’s “The Dropout” series, she’s no longer planning to do the role.
