The Roys are returning, and this time it’s war as HBO has released the first trailer for the fourth season of “Succession” as part of its “House of the Dragon” season finale last night.
The trailer offers a Logan Roy monologue, along with seeing the Roy children teaming up and cousin Greg celebrating. Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Nicholas Bruan, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Matthew Macfadyen, and Alan Ruck star.
In the ten-episode new season, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) moves closer.
The potential sale also provokes angst and division among the Roys leading to a power struggle ensuing as the family weighs up their future. The fourth season will premiere in 2023.
